These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the pisurveying.com website and the land surveying services provided by PI Surveying, PLLC (“Pi Surveying,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
PI Surveying, PLLC is a professional land surveying firm located at 903 Commerce Drive, Suite 210, Oak Brook, IL 60523. All surveys and plats are prepared under the responsible charge of an Illinois-licensed Professional Land Surveyor.
The content on this website is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute a professional survey, legal advice, or a binding quote, and it should not be relied upon as a substitute for a survey performed and sealed by a licensed surveyor. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
Fee quotes for services are based on the following assumptions: (1) the property will be reasonably free of visually obstructing vegetation or objects; (2) the subject site will be open and readily available for our entry without delay (no dogs or locks); (3) the dimensions of the subject block and lot close mathematically; (4) seventy-five percent of the controlling survey monuments will be readily available and in their proper location; and (5) the existing structure to be mapped (house, garage, etc.) is composed of no more than twenty sides and that all angles of said structure are ninety or forty-five degrees. Quotes are estimates; if actual site conditions differ from these assumptions, the final fee may be adjusted.
Invoices are rendered at the time of delivery for work performed and are due and payable upon receipt. A late charge of 1.5% per month will be charged on all past-due invoices. In the event enforcement of a contract is required, the client agrees to pay all reasonable collection costs, including but not limited to attorneys’ fees.
It is the client’s responsibility to inform any party(ies) involved of the expected site visit by the surveyor and to request price quotes if desired. The client is responsible for ensuring the property is reasonably accessible for our entry.
Cancellation of a contract presupposes payment for work already completed as of the date of cancellation.
Total liability for any survey product shall not exceed the survey fee charged for that product. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pi Surveying shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or our services.
To the extent of any conflict between these Terms (or a signed service contract) and any direct mailing material or other agreement, the terms of the contract will prevail.
All content on this website—including text, graphics, logos, and images—is the property of PI Surveying, PLLC and may not be reproduced or reused without our written permission. Survey drawings and reports are prepared for the named client and the stated purpose; use for any other purpose or by any third party is at that party’s own risk.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms or our services shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in DuPage County, Illinois.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the website or our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
